There are some church ruins at the centre of this graveyard, which is maintained by Fingal County Council, and lies 3.5km west of the town of Swords. Dr. Egan records the earliest headstone as dating from 15th August 1754.

A Private J. McCormack, 275893, of the Labour Corps, was buried here in 1918 under the epitaph: “Labour omnia vincit”.

On the headstone of Margaret Mulligan, died 1797 her husband wrote:

“Here lies from strife, a faithful virtuous and loving wife,
A tender parent, a faithful friend,
Happy was her beginning and I hope no doubt her end.”
